Free Website Offer — Terms

1. The Offer
Cathedral Digital ("I", "me") will build a free, professionally designed website for your business. This offer is limited to 5 businesses and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. What's Included
- A bespoke 3-page website (typically Home, About, and Contact)
- Mobile-responsive, fast-loading design
- Basic on-page SEO setup (meta titles, descriptions, sitemap)
- Contact form
- Professional email address setup (e.g. hello@yourbusiness.co.uk)
- Website hosting on fast, reliable infrastructure
3. What's Not Included
- Domain registration cost — I'll register your domain on your behalf, and the cost (typically £10–15) is added to your first invoice.
- Content writing — you provide the text and images for your business. I can advise on structure.
- Logo design — if you don't have a logo, I can recommend affordable options.
- E-commerce, booking systems, or other advanced functionality
- Ongoing content updates (available as an add-on)
4. Free Period
Your website will be built and hosted completely free for 3 months from the date it goes live. During this period, you won't pay anything.
5. After the Free Period
After 3 months, a monthly fee of £19 per month applies to keep your website live and hosted. This covers:
- Continued website hosting
- SSL certificate (secure HTTPS)
- Uptime monitoring
- Minor updates and fixes (up to 30 minutes per month)
- Email support
Payment is collected monthly via Stripe. I'll send you a payment link before the free period ends — no surprise charges.
6. No Contract
There is no minimum term or contract after the free period. You can cancel at any time with 14 days' notice. If you cancel, your website will be taken offline at the end of your billing period.
7. Domain Ownership
I'll register your domain on your behalf and handle all the technical setup. The domain is registered in your name and is yours to keep regardless of whether you continue using my hosting services. The domain registration cost (typically £10–15) is added to your first invoice and covers the first year. Renewal costs are payable annually thereafter.
8. Website Ownership
The website design and code remain the property of Cathedral Digital. While your subscription is active, you have full use of the website. If you cancel, the site is taken offline. If you'd like to take ownership of the code to host elsewhere, this can be arranged for a one-off fee — just ask.
9. Portfolio & Credit
I reserve the right to feature your website in my portfolio and marketing materials. A small "Website by Cathedral Digital" credit link will appear in the footer of your site. This can be removed on request for an additional fee.
10. Additional Services
Need more than 3 pages? Want a blog, booking system, or e-commerce? Additional features and pages are available at an agreed rate. I'll always give you a clear quote before any extra work begins.
11. Eligibility
This offer is available to genuine small businesses, ideally based in Lincoln or Lincolnshire. I reserve the right to decline any enquiry at my discretion.
